To the best race fans in the world…

I know it's hard to imagine, but I'm even more excited than usual! The INAUGURAL Brendan Gaughan Fan Club is officially here! I believe we have assembled a great team of people to help me reach fans who are specifically interested in my racing career. I've had a great time planning the details of the fan club, and though we still have more to accomplish, I think we're off to a great start. Here are some highlights:

There was a lot to do to set up the fan club, but I had the most fun coming up with just the right logo that would reflect, shall we say, my energetic personality! As you probably know, Big Al, the Orleans 'Gator, is a big part of my family. Among his numerous jobs, he plays the trumpet for the Orleans Hotel & Casino, waves the checkered flag for our NASCAR Craftsman Truck and West Series teams, and holds on for dear life while taking a thrill ride on a high-powered Kroyer Racing engine! My family history is VERY important to me, so I knew that Big Al had to be a part of my fan club logo. After a few ideas and numerous sketches, it was decided that Big Al would best represent my fan club by doing something that I am bad at but love to try -- a victory lap burn-out while behind the wheel of my race car!

Once the logo was finished, we went to work on our membership kit. I wanted the items to reflect me, so the first thing that came to mind was, of course, Las Vegas! I wanted to make sure that my fans got something different than just the "same old stuff" like the other guys! Therefore, I am very excited to include in our membership kit a special edition, only one-way-to get-it, non-playable, inaugural fan club poker chip! We also are including a deck of cards direct from the tables of one of our Coast Casinos, hero cards from my various race teams, and a personalized membership "Hard Card" which will entitle fan club members to discounts at our Las Vegas hotels. Of course there is a lot more of the old fashioned stuff in the membership kit, but those are some of my favorite items (check out the fan club page for the full list of membership items). Here on the brendangaughan.com official Web site there is an exclusive fan club member's only section where I can interact with members and provide even more Brendan Gaughan insights!

I will be very involved with my fan club; it's a great way to stay connected with my fellow race fans and to thank everyone for their continued support. I can't wait to hear from you.
