Gaughan Finished 14th at Chicagoland

Mooresville, NC (09-19-2011) – After two days of having fun in the mud at Chicagoland Speedway with his old friends in the TRAXXAS TORC Series, Brendan Gaughan took to the pavement at the Joliet, IL, 1.5-mile speedway with the No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra. Gaughan qualified 17^th and finished 14^th after running as high as second throughout the 150-lap Fast Five 225 race.

“Our Germain Racing team saw some good things in Chicagoland, for sure. We were able to get our truck to the front and so was our teammate, Todd Bodine. We just needed to stay there longer. The South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra handled a lot better this week. I’m looking forward to what we can bring to the track next weekend in New Hampshire ,” said Gaughan.

The No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino driver is ranked 13^th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points standings after 18 races.
