Gaughan Finished 14th at Chicagoland

Mooresville, NC (09-19-2011) – After two days of having fun in the mud at Chicagoland Speedway with his old friends in the TRAXXAS TORC Series, Brendan Gaughan took to the pavement at the Joliet, IL, 1.5-mile speedway with the No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra. Gaughan qualified 17th and finished 14th after running as high as second throughout the 150-lap Fast Five 225 race.

In the opinion of No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra driver Brendan Gaughan, the Joliet , IL , track is one of the easiest to learn and produces some very exciting racing. Gaughan will make his first Truck Series start in Friday’s 150 lap/225 mile race, but he’s been to Chicagoland in two other NASCAR Series.
