I'm going to vent some things right now, so feel free to skip this.

1. ROY...How is it possible to lose the title by 18 points, when there was barely 8 points seperating the 2 leaders at race time, and Brendan finished well ahead of Justin? I know they do it differently, but maybe Raysbestos needs to rethink their scoring...absolutely no one I've talked to knows how it's figured out.

2. Brad K (can't spell his last name) as most popular driver. The only good thing about this was it wasn't Kyle Busch.

3. Wondering who Brendan will be driving for next season...that in itself is enough to drive us crazy. Rusty would be STUPID to let him go. He needs to dump Steven and give Brendan a fighting chance. Come on, that 5 Hour Energy commercial makes me want to buy the competition. Steven isn't a good spokesman, and he really needs to learn how to control his temper on the track. Too many more fines, and daddy will not have to worry about drivers at all.

Ok, I'm through now. Just a couple of things that are driving me crazy...yes, Brendan, I know a short trip.l

There, There, it's ok, we understand and agree. Cherri said to eat extra whip cream. It helps

One of the deals here is the ROTY scoring system drops the worst finishes. I do not recall how many. This basically takes those "really bad days" high in the 30's out of the tally. The weakness Brendan suffered was through much of the Summer, if they got a lap down during a long green run, getting it back was a tough nut to crack. Didn't happen as much with Justin.

I know there's a place way in the back of our minds where we want to dislike the guy because Penske's giving him the backing we always figured Brendan deserved, and because he kinda looks like a 4th grader (except maybe a little shorter), and because Rusty was even in commercials with him, but the kid drove a heck of a season. No denying that.

I guess the main problem is you don't mind losing something if you know why you lose it. It's the ambiguous (spelled wrong, I know) way they score that makes it so hard to figure out. Probably bothers us more than it does Brendan that he lost...a 34 year old rookie is a bit comical, I know.

Over all, it was a good season...finishing 9th, and I don't recall him not being in the top 10 is nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully next season will offer an even better opportunity for him. Now, if we just had a clue about it, (hint, hint, Brendan :D)

I don't want to hate Justin, he's a really nice guy, and a good driver, but maybe you're right, Michael, the word Penske makes it a real hard thing to swollow. Those of us that have been around for a while just have a real bad time with the word Penske...nearly caused a divorce when hubby rented a Penske truck to move us from Texas to Oklahoma. It was the cheepest truck, but the name still bothered me.

Happy Holidays to all. May Santa bring everyone peace and joy, and Brendan a super ride for next season.

I agree with the Penske thing, but its good nobody has really had success in the 77. Lets let go of Brendan after he just started to gain top 10 finishes....f u roger!

also, is it a for sure deal that the #62 is gone for RWI?
